EASTERN FRANCE

This is a region of old world Germanic atmosphere especially in Alsace and Lorraine but still very French in its food and wine traditions.

The wine culture is present in both Alsace and Champagne regions.

In terms of architecture, you will find half-timber houses, storks’ nests, carved-wood balustrades but also Gothic cathedrals or Art Nouveau.

You will go from rolling countryside mirabelle orchards in Lorraine, to vineyard trails in Alsace and chalk tunnels carved under the streets of Reims, where millions of bottles are kept to mature.
