Day 1: La Baule for 4 nights
Pick up car rental in Paris and drive to La Baule

Set in La Baule within landscaped gardens, this country manor is ideally located by the sea. Guests can relax in the hotel’s picturesque gardens or borrow bicycles on site for free. The spacious rooms are equipped with a minibar and satellite TV. All have private bathrooms with bathrobes and slippers. Continental breakfast is served daily and the elegant restaurant at Castel Marie Louise offers a mix of traditional dishes and original creations. In the evening, the hotel bar serves a variety of drinks. Drive to Guerande’s 5,000-acre salt flats and stop to enter a well-preserved WWII bunker.
Visit this medieval fortified town a few kilometres from La Baule.
Meet with a salt harvester who shares the fascinating process of salt formation.
Then head to Le Croizic for lunch. Le Croisic is best known for its fishing industry but this attractive port was also one of the first tourist resorts in Brittany.
Walk around the old town admiring the 16th-century half-timbered houses and then follow the Route des Coquillages (shellfish trail) along which you can visit producers, take guided tours, and taste local seafood products.
Drive the Cote Sauvage, the most north-western stretch, which runs from Le Croisic to le Pouliguen.
Day 3: Nantes

Nantes and the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany.
Nantes is a beautiful town with secret courtyards and covered passageways. You could also tour Saint Nazaire, a town on the sea. Visit of Escal’Atlantic and the Saint Nazaire shipyard, one of the largest shipyards in Europe.
Day 4:

Relax or enjoy the beach at nearby Batz sur Mer. A very quaint village with a nice cluster of traditional houses and a couple of restaurants facing the beach and harbor and a sandy beach , backed by large granite boulders. .
You could also see the evocative ruins of the Chapel of du Murier, built in the 15th century to celebrate the end of a local epidemic of Black Death.
Day 5: Angers region for 2 nights
Drive through the Ancenis region and stop at the medieval château at Oudon for a peerless views of the Loire. You could also spend time on the water and board “La Luce” at Champtoceaux, 12 km from Ancenis for a 75 minute guided tour along the Loire. Down the river, discover the picturesque landscapes of the Loire: craggy hillsides, sandy islands, châteaux, and vineyards… and exceptional sites such as Folies Siffait (a romantic structure on Le Cellier hill), La Patache a fishing village…
Or follow the Muscadet Wine Route and stop in Clisson, a charming medieval town.

Set at the heart of the Loire Valley, this 18th-century château offers luxury rooms with period furniture. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The splendid 50-hectare park with its pond and a walking path is the perfect place to relax. Traditional meals are served for dinner at 20:00 in the dining room at the Château Des Briottieres hotel. Explore the fortress from the 13th century and see the Apocalypse tapestry, which is the most important set of medieval tapestries still in existence in the world today.
Day 7: Paris for 1 night
Drive to Paris and son your way stop at Abbey at Fontevraud, the largest and most remarkably preserved monastery in France. You could also stop in the fairytale château of Saumur or visit some caves burrowed out of the rock, used for mushroom growing, storing sparkling wines, as well as for dwellings.
