Jeep tour in Wadi Rum.
Once you have arrived in Wadi Rum, you will meet your guide
When you are ready you will head into the desert by Jeep, to enjoy Wadi Rum Jeep tour He will take you to the best and most beautiful areas of Wadi Rum.
This tour offers a great balance of driving, stopping & spending time at each place. There is a relaxed pace to the day and at each stop you have the opportunity to hike, scramble, and explore in your own time & your own way:
Lawrence Spring Walk up through rocks and boulders to find the water (and a lovely fig tree to rest under).  During spring time you are greeted by the heady smell of herbs.. The view across the Wadi from here is legendary! 1 hour hike optional
Khazali Canyon This canyon was once used by the local Bedouin to rest in the shade, in the hot summer.  You can easily imagine how it would have looked with Bedouin tents, family’s resting, drinking tea, and children playing.  You can find on the canyon walls many ancient rock inscriptions (See if you can spot the inscriptions of feet, and the Orynx). 15 minute hike
Red Sand Dunes This area is very beautiful with many differing colour’s of rock and sand. You can climb up the sand dune for the wonderful view at the top. Then we like to jump off it & run down it (some silly people also like to roll down it!). 10/15 minute hike
Anfishieh Inscriptions Rock inscriptions of the Camel Caravans on the Anfishieh Jebel from the Thamudic and Nabatean periods. Inscriptions
House of Lawrence A Nabatean structure that Lawrence of Arabia (according to hearsay) used during the Great Arab Revolution to store weapons. But without lingering on the possible academia of this site, there is a wonderful view from here. Archaeological interest/viewpoint.
Around about now: LUNCH We find a beautiful and quiet place to rest and enjoy some food which your guide will prepare for you. In the summer months the days are long and hot. We have a long leisurely lunch break of approx 2-3 hours in the shade. In the winter months we have a shorter break (around 1 hour) to make the most of the daylight hours.
Burdah Arch This natural rock bridge is set high up on the mountain.  So on your tour you will just look at it from a distance… Viewpoint.
Um Frouth Arch For some scrambling (or scrambling watching).  This is a natural rock bridge, created by many years of water and wind.  You can climb to the top… as long as you are not afraid of heights! 10 minute scramble
Small Sand Dune  There is a wonderful view across the red desert to the white desert from here & this is the best dune for those jumping photographs. 10 minute walk & viewpoint
The « Chicken » Rock  a unique 2 legged rock in a beautiful location.  We often enjoy the sunset from here or stop 9 as they are located in the best position for sunset viewing. Viewpoint.
To the Camp: Enjoy a delicious Bedouin dinner, the stars and the night in the desert. In the camp we have Bedouin tents (private), with mattresses and blankets. We have toilets (two Western) and two shower’s (cold water/ sun warmed). We have a cosy main tent with a fire for sitting and relaxing in. The Camp is in the white desert in a unique and beautiful location, secluded and away from any other tourist camps

Samaria or the Samaria Gorge is one of the main sights of Crete, the second most visited (following the Minoan palace of Knossos) and by far the most popular walk. Every tourist who visits Crete will have heard of this beautiful gorge or soon will.
The locals call it the “Farangas” or “Great Gorge”, both in admiration at its beauty and to differentiate it from the many other, smaller gorges of Crete.
We leave early in the morning and passing through several beautiful villages we reach the plateau of Omalos.
Our hike will last approximately 6 hours and will take us, along a breathtaking and constantly changing landscape, to Agia Roumeli, a laid back coastal village by the South coast, accessible only by boat.
The tour will allow you a chance to experience this must-see natural phenomenon at a slower pace, attended to by a specialized guide.
At the base of the gorge you can enjoy a refreshing swim and lunch at one of the local tavernas at Agia Roumeli Village.
After an hour’s sail to the nearby port, you will be transferred back to Chania in the evening by our deluxe mini coach.

Heraklion Bites and Sights – Small Group at 1 pm
Dive into Heraklion’s history with stories of its turbulent past and visits to its legendary churches, fountains, and monuments
Learn the secrets of the Cretan diet by sampling its best products at a local market
Discover the local side of Heraklion through its lesser-known streets, forgotten laneways, and old city walls
Admire art collections in unique locations
Indulge in local flavours like a meze platter and oh-hey-that’s-strong raki and tsikoudia
One of the most vibrant cities in all of Greece, Heraklion has been at the crossroads of civilisations for centuries. In its infancy the city was known as “Kastro”, which historians believe indicates that the city was surrounded by fortification walls. Join this Heraklion walking tour to get to know the city as it is now, but also as it was centuries ago, uncovering remnants of occupations by the Byzantines, Arabs, Venetians, Turks, and pirates…yes, pirates.
Heading off from “Freedom Square” aka Eleftherias Square, our tour of Heraklion will continue through lesser-known streets and neighbourhoods to give you the opportunity to see the real city as a local insider. Appropriately, you’ll start off with a freshly brewed traditional coffee paired with a wander through the local market, where you can sample local products such as barley rusks and olives and cheese (what else would you expect?!), and chat with local shop owners.
From there, take a hop back in time with a walk atop Heraklion’s great Venetian wall fortifications for some of the best view of the city. It’s also a great vantage point to see how these walls (ahem, the longest in Europe, ahem) divide the old city from the new city. Continue along to the lonesome tomb and monument of Nikos Kazantzakis, the son of Crete, and discover what inspired him to write Zorba.
Moving on, we’ll walk along the pedestrian street, 25 August, admiring some of Heraklion’s major highlights, like St. Titus Cathedral and the Morosini Fountain in the heart of the city. Continue along the hidden backstreets of Heraklion, where your local guide will discuss the city’s history and point out further evidence of how the city has been shaped into the lively place it is today.
After our morning exploration, our Heraklion walking tour will end at a local favourite – a meze tavern, where you’ll finish things off with a bang, or, rather, a drink! Dig in to a meze platter and sip local specialties like raki and tsikoudia, the island’s famous (and oh so strong) distilled spirit. Opa!
